VTE telescopic valves are designed and installed for level control in tanks or digesters. The unit is composed of two concentric pipes one nested within the other.
The outer pipe (fixed) is connected to an existing drain by means of a flange at its lower end; the inner pipe slides and can be raised or lowered by means of a threaded rod and a handwheel, thus achieving adjustable height of the upper outlet. Gaskets ensure watertightness between the inner and the outer pipe.
